Mrs. Musacchio: I have been an Early Childhood teacher for 24 years and Preschool Director in both public and private school. My college degree is in Elementary Education and I have a Texas Teacher Certificate. My teaching experience includes PreK, Kindergarten and First grade. I love teaching young children! It has been a dream of mine to have my own preschool in my local community of Ponder.
Mrs. Shaw: I have been a teacher for 20 years. My degree is in Elementary Education with a Reading major and Math minor. I have taught Kindergarten, Third and Sixth grade. This will be my 5th year teaching Preschool. I absolutely love this age group and I know this is where I am meant to be!
Mrs. Larussa: My degree is in Elementary Education. I have taught PreK, Kindergarten and First grade. After 13 years of teaching in public school, I left to homeschool my own children. Now that they have all graduated, I am thrilled to be back in the classroom at Little Learners!
Mrs. Weidner: My degree is in Early Childhood Education and have 30 years experience teaching preschoolers. I have taught in several different types of preschool programs. I have taught in a parent cooperative and most recently taught at UNT’s child development lab school. I am very excited to be here at Little Learners!

Our small classes of just 10 children allows your child to be comfortable and grow valuable friendships with the other preschoolers. We use Conscious Discipline techniques like self-regulation and conflict-resolution skills that are super vital to learn at this age, which help your child work through their problems with other children.

Your child will receive individualized instruction through our assessments and curriculum. Our teachers will guide your child in the areas they need to improve, and challenge them when they’re ready for more. Our balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities follows the NAEYC guidelines to strengthen your whole child’s development: Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical.

We are state licensed, have liability insurance and CPR/1st Aid Certified. Our distinct policies and procedures regarding health and safety help to keep your child in a safe, clean environment. We’re constantly cleaning, washing hands, and monitoring all activities to keep the children safe.

Choose Your Preschool Class:
Due to high demand, our classes fill up very fast. Please register soon to ensure your child receives a spot! Although we are NOT a daycare, you can use our preschool's class time as childcare, and deduct the preschool's tuition from your taxes.
A copy of your child's birth certificate, physical exam form and immunization record will be required for enrollment. Children must be potty trained. We are a 10 month school year program-August-May.

STEP 2:
Schedule Your Tour to Register Your Child
At the end of our call, we'll ask you to schedule a tour so we can tell you all about us and ensure we're a good fit.
STEP 3:
Register Your Child During Your Tour
At the end of our tour, we'll ask if you'd like your child to attend our preschool. If so, you'll fill out the registration form and pay the registration fee.
